Pakistani actress Veena Malik who was featured nude in Indian men’s magazine, FHM’s December edition cover accused the publisher for doctoring the photo to make it appear nude.
Malik’s lawyer, Ayaz Bilawala, told that he has sent a notice to the magazine about the legal challenge. He also told that he is filing papers in the Mumbai High Court and demanding the magazine to be removed from newsstands. The law suit is also seeking Rs. 100 million as a damage compensation.
FHM India editor Kabeer Sharma confirmed that he had received the legal notice from Malik’s lawyer.
The cover had caused protest against her in Pakistan calling it a shame for all Muslims.
In the magazine cover photo Veena Malik is is not wearing any cloths. She is using her arms and legs to cover her bodily parts. The "ISI" tattoo on one of her arms is also one of the concern of the people.
Although Veena never accepted, such nude photos of her were revealed before. Meanwhile, FHM India released one more cover photo of Veena Malik. Although the second cover is more covered in the bottom part, it’s more revealing in the upper parts of her body. In the photo Veena Malik has a bomb in one hand, and the other hand has the ISI tattoo.
