The Channel V fame Sophiya Haque started as a VJ/host on the pop-music channels in the 1990s. The Indian satellite TV opened her the path to modeling and acting career. Apart from acting in supporting roles in a number of Bollywood movies, she also got a leading role in a low-budget Bollywood comedy film ‘Snip!’ (2000). The movie however wasn’t that successful.
